UK lorry drivers suffer as French protests continue, says FTA

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has warned that blockades and protests on French motorways and at fuel refineries are impacting the UK’s lorry drivers.

Drivers are struggling to fill their fuel tanks as many of the petrol stations near Calais have run out of fuel, while others are limiting their sales, says the FTA.

The planned strikes and protests are expected to continue on Thursday this week.
