At Downton, we have over 55 years' experience of transporting products around the UK. Nobody knows the UK roads better than we do. In fact, we know them so well we even helped build them - one of our first ever projects was the development of the M5!

Today we have over 400 vehicles operating across the UK's roads, and our smart, modern image is a recognisable and distinctive sight. We operate over 800 modern curtain-sided trailers, complimented by and array of specialist equipment and vehicles, including:

• Double-deckers with moffets
• Tail-lifts

This ever-expanding fleet is run to the very highest standards. Fully trained drivers operate all our vehicles and each driver has direct contact with our management team at all times.
