Transport Committee asking drivers for comments on all-lane running

An inquiry into the effectiveness of all-lane running on England’s motorways has been launched by the Transport Select Committee.

The committee has proposed expanding the use of all-lane running motorways, and is looking for feedback from drivers on sections currently in operation (M1, M4, M5, M6, M42 and M62).

It is also asking for the views of road users on how it can manage capacity and congestion on the Strategic Road Network, and how future policy should be shaped.
