TfL partnership to crack down on unsafe operators

Transport for London (TfL) launched the London Freight Enforcement Partnership this week as part of a renewed effort to crack down on unsafe HGV operators on London’s roads.

Comprising the pooled resources of TfL, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the Metropolitan Police and the City of London Police, the partnership will replace the Industrial HGV Task Force, originally launched in 2013.

A team of more than 90 officers and analysts will share intelligence to help remove non-compliant operators from the capital.
