The Managing Freight in London Conference 2015 in June will include a keynote address from Sir Peter Hendy, London’s transport commissioner.
The event, organised by the Freight Transport Association, will look to address many of the issues facing operators in the capital over the next few years. This will include how London can cope with increased traffic on its roads, and how these changes will affect freight. The conference will also discuss how operators can adapt to the changes, in addition to multiple upcoming upgrade projects.
Ahead of his speech, Sir Peter Hendy commented on the need to address the pressures facing London’s roads, with the city’s population set to reach 10 million by 2030.
