Rise in transport managers intending to quit in coming years

A survey carried out by the Freight Transport Association (FTA) has found that around 34 per cent of transport managers intend to quit within five years.

This marks an increase on last year’s figure, when the same survey found that only 23 per cent of participants intended to leave their roles.

The study, which drew on responses from 328 transport managers, will be presented at the FTA’s Transport Manager 2015 events, which begin at Brands Hatch on 9 September.
