RHA seeks to keep driver training top of the government agenda

The Road Haulage Association’s (RHA) campaign for the establishment of a training fund to ease the industry’s driver shortage is building momentum. 

The campaign has already received backing from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Food Storage and Distribution Federation. 

 Chief Executive of the RHA, Richard Burnett, said: “There is a critical shortage of drivers and that will impact on the economy. The RHA is determined to use the momentum of that crisis to drive a positive change in the industry and the way it is perceived.”
