RHA and Microlise launch veteran training programme to tackle skills crisis

The Road Haulage Association (RHA) and telematics solutions provider Microlise have launched a training scheme, Road to Logistics, to help military veterans who have spent time in prison start new careers in the logistics industry.

The RHA’s chief executive, Richard Burnett, said that the programme could help to plug the sector’s skills gap while supporting veterans to reintegrate into mainstream employment.  The scheme is supported by veteran welfare charity, Care after Combat.
