Registrations on the increase as big operators buy more

According to the latest CV report, large operators running at least 51 trucks have said they will spend more on vehicles than they did in 2013.

Last year the industry saw a 25 per cent rise in the number of new vehicle registrations weighing more than 3.5-tonnes GVW.

The report explains that the operators expect to take delivery of an average of 33.4 vehicles on contract hire and 60.3 by outright purchase.
