Downton secured a new contract with AB InBev that will involve the delivery of all keg beers for the company.
The deliveries will be made from Inbev’s two main breweries at Salmesbury near Preston and Magor in South Wales. This will involve the use of 35 tractors and 70 trailers based at both breweries, with deliveries taking place all over the UK.
AB InBev UK are part of the world’s leading brewer. They produce some of the world’s best known brands, including Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona, as well as local favourites such as Bass and Boddingtons. Their beers have been popular in the UK for many years and they now employ around 1,000 people at their UK breweries in Magor, Samlesbury and Mortlake, as well as the company headquarters in Luton.
