A poll carried out by Motortransport.co.uk has shown that the logistics industry remains split on the impact of Britain’s exit from the EU and what effect it will have on their businesses.
Of 487 operators polled, 43 per cent said they felt leaving the EU would benefit their business. 40 per cent said it wouldn’t help them, while 17 per cent still remain undecided.
Other surveys have suggested similar sentiments across the industry. A report from the CBI last month suggested that while nearly a quarter of respondents said they had felt a hit to new business, the vast majority said they had not experienced a negative effect.
