FSDF chief warns of impact of driver shortage

The driver shortage is going to start to hit the pockets of the British people if action isn’t taken, according to Chris Sturman, CEO of The Food Storage and Distribution Federation.

His comments were in response to the publication of the Transport Committee’s report into truck driver recruitment and training, which highlighted inadequacies in the way the industry was tackling the skills shortage.
