DVSA puts wheels in motion on Remote Enforcement Office plan

Following a successful 12 month trial period in the Western traffic area, the DVSA has began a national rollout of its Remote Enforcement Office (REO) strategy.

The concept aims to reduce the burden on compliant operators and allow the DVSA to target its resources more efficiently.   Rather than have an examiner attend an operator premises, it enables information requested by the agency to be sent to its office.

The DVSA announced that the trial had been a success and that further details of a full rollout will follow.
