DVSA planning to trial new O-licence IT system by end of 2015

The DVSA will trail a new IT system to reduce digital O-licence application waiting times by five working days later this year. 

In a blog post last month, the DVSA revealed its progress on the project indicating that it is now moving into the testing stage. 

Earlier this year, East of England Traffic Commissioner Richard Turfitt claimed that the system will benefit the road transport industry to the tune of £16.7 million, allowing operators to put vehicles on the road sooner through improve application processing times.
