CSR and Environment

Downton grew up in a rural community in the cotswolds, and a passion for the environment is evident at each of our sites around the country.

Any visitor to our depots will immediately recognise the importance that we place on cleanliness and minimising the impact on our environment. At our Gloucestershire office alone, we have planted over 2,500 trees and have encouraged the development of rare breeds of wildlife at local ponds and wetlands.

Our commitment to preserving the environment and minimising any adverse impact of our activities requires the continuous improvement of our operational methods and working practices. We work to, review and continually update our environmental policy, to which all employees must adhere.
